2023: Obasanjo, Obi, Wike, Others Meet In London

A former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, met in London on Thursday with Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi.

The meeting which had other governors in attendance including Governors Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, and his Benue State counterpart, Samuel Ortom.

Also in attendance was a former governor of Cross Rivers State, Mr. Donald Duke, among others.

Political observers believe the meeting is strategic amidst negotiations as activities gather momentum ahead of the 2023 elections.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is expected to also meet today with Wike in London.
