Insecurity: 6 Killed in Attack on Osun Village

Six persons have been reportedly killed during an attack on Wasinmi village, an area in Ayedire Local Government Area in Osun State.

It was gathered that the gunmen invaded the village and started shooting indiscriminately.

The attack caused fear and panic in the village as the reason for the attack is yet to be known at the time of filing this report.

Spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, Mrs Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident to THE NATION.

She said: “Six people were killed and the Commissioner of Police, Mr Wale Olokode has visited the scene”.
