Breaking! Opposition Reps Stage Walk-out

Amidst a rowdy session for the second day, opposition lawmakers in the House of Representatives staged a walk-out on Tuesday’s plenary session for the amendment of the Electoral Act.

The lawmakers insisted before the walk-out that Clause S2 was not carried and vowed to disrupt proceedings when the House reconvenes after its recess.
