Breaking! PIB: Senate Ratifies 3% Equity For Host Communities

The Senate on Thursday, sustained and adopted the three percent equity share for host communities in the Petroleum Industry Bill.

This came just as the House of Representatives slashed the five percent equity share early recommended for host communities to three percent in the contentious PIB amidst a rowdy session.
