The Southern Governors Forum (SGF) has set September 21, 2021, as the deadline for all states in the southern flank of the country to promulgate the Anti-open grazing law in line with an earlier position taken in Asaba, Delta State.https://scudnewsng.com
The governors also said President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor should be from the south and rejected the three percent equity shares for oil-producing communities.
Instead, the governors demanded an allocation of five percent to the oil-producing communities.
These were part of the resolutions at a meeting of the governors in Lagos on Monday.
