This is contained in a statement in Osogbo on Monday by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Yemisi Opalola, who said police would use legitimate means to avert such protest.

Opalola said that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Olawale Olokode, had given marching orders to the Area commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Tactical units to be at alert and nip in the bud any act capable of truncating the peace of the state.
