A Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos, has granted bail to the embattled EndSARS protester Peter  Eromosele in the sum of one-Million naira and two sureties who must be family members.
The Court rejected a request by the police for an order to detain Eromosele for another 30-days to enable them conclude investigation into the allegations against the defendant.

Recall that Eromosele was arrested from his home on November 7, by a team of policemen for partaking in the #EndSARS protest.

The Nigeria Police thereafter moved Eromosele Adene from detention in its Lagos facility, to the Police Headquarters in Abuja where he spent about 8 days without trial.

The police have however denied taking him to Abuja as they arraigned him before the Magistrate court.

While the right to protest was constitutionally guaranteed, President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has continued to clamp down on citizens, who took part in the #EndSARS protest.
