My Choice Group, an NGO, has unveiled a N5 million interest-free loan to members of the group in the 18 local government areas of Ondo State.
Speaking during the disbursement on Wednesday in Akure, Mrs Omowumi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole, Founder of the group, said the interest-free loan was to empower members engaged in petty trade.
Olatunji-Ohwovoriole stated that beneficiaries were eligible to a maximum loan of N100,000 each.
She explained that the group aimed to touch people’s lives and would continue to groom its members to live a life of impact wherever they found themselves.
Olatunji-Ohwovoriole said the group had given hope to the hopeless since it was established in 2007.
“Many have benefited from the group’s educational scholarship programmes. We have sent people overseas for heart treatment in India and created employment for youths. Our members can now access free health at a designated hospital in the state”.
