How 13-Year-Old Boy Murdered Grandpa In Edo

A week after raising the alarm on threats by his 13-year-old son to snuffed life out of him, a 79-year-old man, Osariakhi Oronsaye, has finally been consumed by his worst fear.

His son simply identified as Abubakar allegedly slaughtered him in his on Sunday, few days after the police were called in pick up the by over his threat to kill the grandpa.

Ironically, sources said when Abubakar was arrested and was being led to the police station at Evbuotubu, a suburb of Benin, Edo State, the old man who was oblivious that his son from hell was determined to execute his evil intention, pleaded with the policemen to set him free.

He did not live to regret his action and tell a story as the boy allegedly used axe to butcher him while he was asleep.

It was reliably gathered that the 79-year-old man resident at Egbon Estate, Evboutubu, had about a week ago, raised the alarm that his son, a secondary school student, wanted to kill him.

Perplexed neighbours are still in shock over the incident more so, since the boy was not known to suffer mental challenge.

 “We have not known Abubakar to be having a mental problem; so, we are shocked with his action”, a resident of the community said.

It was however learnt that Abubakar has been arrested and taken into custody and would soon be transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department of the state police command for further investigation.
