Hundreds of Christian worshippers, on Sunday in Lagos, prayed for the “revival and healing “of Nigeria from every infirmity and social crisis “that has been a lot of the country in recent times.
The national prayer, made at the July revival prayers of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, was to “reposition the country in the higher realm, for a better physical standing.”
The two-day program which ended on Sunday was tagged “God has sworn to Bless Me.”
The event, dedicated to Nigeria, was to counter the various crises the country and its people were faced with.
The worshippers, in their hundreds, sowed “seeds of faith “on behalf of the nation aimed to halt the social crises in the country and attracting blessings and peace from God.
In his sermon, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, the General Overseer of the church, said God has heard the cries and sufferings of Nigerians and has replaced them with healings.
According to him, those worshippers who sowed the “seed of faith “on behalf of the country will be the “point of contact “between Nigeria and the higher realm where all blessings and healings come from.
“With your appeal to God on behalf of the country; banditry, kidnapping, hunger, and starvation will take flight from our midst and our land.
“The scripture says we should ask in order to receive and to come to God in repentance for healings to take place.
“Heaven knows our plight over the years and our people have now shown remorse and for God will heal our people from every infirmity and anxiety.”
Muoka said that God loved Nigeria that was why despite all that the country had passed through it has remained united.
The preacher, who described Nigeria as a land after God’s heart, called on the leadership of the country to always beckon on God in times of crises, for solution.
