KADUNA ASSEMBLY DEPUTY SPEAKER IMPEACHED

Deputy Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Alhaji Mukhtar Hazo was on Thursday, impeached by 24 of legislators in the 34-member House.

Details of the allegations against him were unclear as at the time of filing this report, but his removal followed a Vote of No Confidence passed on him during a sitting presided over by Speaker of the House, Yusuf Zailani.

Dr. Isaac Zankai, the representative of Kauru state constituency, has been elected to replace Hon. Hazo.
