Man Caught Burying Headless Body Of Neighbour, 65

A 24-year-old man has been arrested by the police in Cross River State for allegedly killing his neighbor and chopping off the head before burying the body in front of his house.

Christian Edem Eyong, who hails from Ekpenetete village in Akpabuyo Local Government Area of the state, was caught while allegedly burying the headless body of Uduak Effiong, a 65-year-old man said to be his neighbour. https://scudnewsng.com

Eyong, a businessman resident at No. 37, Inyong Street, Calabar, was reportedly arrested by police detectives who rushed to the scene following a report on the incident.  

Scudnews learnt that homicide detectives have begun investigation into the motive for the crime, but a senior police officer who craved anonymity said the police were digging deep.

“He has already confessed to killing the 65-year-old man and burying the headless corpse in front of his. We are investigating the motive behind this bizarre and barbaric act.

“Investigation is ongoing, and I can assure you that the police will leave no stone unturned to determine the motive for the crime and if is an accomplice”.
