A middle-aged man has been arrested by the police in Benue State for allegedly killing a 56-year-old woman in her farm and preparing pepper soup with her head after chopping it off.

She was gruesomely macheted to death by Ogbwe who allegedly chopped off her head, sliced it into pieces and prepared pepper soup with it.
Scudnews learnt when the woman did not return home after hours of waiting, her husband’s nephew, Mr. Igiri Silas Alaye, lodged a complaint with the police.
It was further learnt that police operatives drafted to the scene recovered the woman’s body and arrested the suspect currently being investigated by homicide detectives to ascertain the motive behind the crime.
Ironically, both the victim and her assailant hail from the same community – Ochekpo Ette Igwe Uwokwu, Oju Local Government Area of Benue State.
