At age 28, Bilkisu Suleman has gained notoriety for being top on the list of crime suspects. She plies a bizarre trade that has made her queen of bandits in a reign of terror.

On Wednesday, January 3, Bilkisu concealed missiles in a black nylon bag kept in her handbag as she journeyed to a jungle of bandits in Nigeria’s North West.

She was on her way to deliver 249 rounds of 7.62 mm live ammunition to a notorious bandit in Kakumi village, Katsina State, immersed in thoughts of how blood, pain, sorrow and anguish would be spilled.

Bilkisu was however oblivious that it was her doomsday as agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, in New Year interdiction operations in Kaduna apprehended her.

She was arrested by anti-narcotic operatives on patrol along Zaria – Kano expressway aborting her mission to the mountains and valleys in the underworld.

Whether the curtain has closed for Bilkisu as the NDLEA hands her over to the Kaduna State police command for an intensive investigation remains to be seen.
