The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and Trade Union Congress, TUC, have suspended the nationwide industrial action embarked upon on Monday over a new minimum wage, for five days.
During the period of suspension, organized Labour said it will participate in the tripartite committee meeting to arrive at an acceptable national minimum wage.
The leadership of Labour met on Tuesday and a resolution was reached to suspend the strike forthwith.
A joint statement will be issued later today by the Labour unions, an official said.
