Nollywood Actor, Ernest Asuzu, is Dead

Nollywood actor, Ernest asuzu has died on Tuesday night, aged 37.

His wife, Jennifer Asuzu, who confirmed the sad incident according to The Nation, said he fainted on Tuesday evening and never woke up.

Asuzu began his acting career in the ’90s and rose to prominence after he starred in the 1997 Nollywood classic, ‘Rituals’.

He enjoyed a bubbling career in Nollywood until he came down with a stroke in 2015 which affected his speech.

He was also bedridden for three years.

In one of his interviews published by PREMIUM TIMES in December 2020, Asuzu had said his problem was spiritual.

He had disclosed his hopes of a return to Nollywood and music after an eight-year hiatus.
