“On behalf of the Venezuelan People, the Bolivarian Government and my humble self, I send you my warmest congratulations for celebrating, on Oct. 1, the 60th anniversary of the independence of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nigeria is one of the strongest and most influential States in the continent and in the world, the first economy of Mother Africa and a reference in music, cinema and literature… On the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries, let us continue to work together to ensure the greatest possible happiness for our peoples”.
Venezuela’s Ambassador to Nigeria, David Caraballo said the Embassy in Nigeria would continue to strengthen diplomatic relations with the Nigerian government.
He said Venezuela and Nigeria share a lot together: as oil producing countries, culture, agriculture, tourism and great economy, hence the need for stronger collaborations for immense benefits of both countries.
