The Russian President Vladimir Putin says the country has no plans to block foreign social media websites in the country.
Putin, who made this known on Wednesday, said foreign social media such as Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Twitter, would still remain active in Russia, but must adhere to the laws of the land.
“We are going to work with them, but sometimes it is problematic when they send us to hell and refuse to comply with our requirements and Russian laws.
“If the foreign social media companies work in our country and make good money, they must comply with our laws.https://scudnewsng.com
“ We do not demand anything extra from them, but such companies must open representative offices in Russia to enable a dialogue,” Putin said.
