Supreme Court Affirms Gov Diri’s Election

The Supreme Court has affirmed Douye Diri as the duly elected Governor of Bayelsa State in the November 2019 polls.

In a unanimous judgement delivered by Justice Sylvester Ngwuta, the court also dismissed the AD, ANDP and LM appeal against the Bayelsa Deputy Governor, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo and the Accord party’s case.
