Four members of a family were killed in a fire incident which occurred at about 2.am on Tuesday, March 30, in Abuja.
It was learnt that the victims whose residence is situated close to a popular eatery, Mr. Biggs, were asleep when fire erupted and consumed them.
A witness said the victims had all been burnt before the police and men of the Fire Service got to the scene.
Names of the deceased were given as Precious Halidu, aged 18, Miracle Halidu, 18, Peter Halidu, 14, and 12-year-old Patrick Halidu, all children of Halidu Bahago, who hails from Kaduna State.
Police said bodies of the victims were deposited at the morgue of General Hospital Gwarimpa, for autopsy.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained as of the time of filing this report, but it was suspected to have resulted from power surge.
