4 suspected Internet fraudsters Arrested In Benue

Four suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in Benue State.

The suspects, identified as Igba Simon, Edigbo Oibe Fredrick, Sunday Nazarethe and one other, were rounded up by operatives of the anti-graft agency on Tuesday, May 18, at a popula hotel in Makurdi, the state capital, following credible intelligence on their alleged criminal activities.

Spokesperson for EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, who confirmed the development disclosed that at the point of arrest, Simon Igba was in possession of a Toyota Corolla car recently acquired and an iPhone X. More iPhones, Macbook Air and Modems, were among items recovered from the remaining suspects.

He said they will soon be charged to court.
