Breaking! FG Extends NIN Linkage to SIM by 2 Months

The Federal Government has extended the period granted mobile telephone subscribers to link their National Identity Number (NIN) to SIM by two months. The initial linkage deadline for people with NIN had expired on January 19, 2021.

Minister of Communications, Dr. Isa Patami said the extension is to give Nigerians and legal residents more time to integrate their NIN with the SIM. The new deadline is April 6, 2021.
