[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The presidency on Monday night, confirmed an attempt to rob the residence of Ibrahim Gambari, chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, within the precincts of the Aso Villa.
Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, confirmed the development, saying the attack, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, was unsuccessful.
“The Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari has confirmed that there “was a foolish attempt” to burgle his residence at 3:00am this morning but it turned out to be unsuccessful,” Shehu said.
“Professor Gambari, whose house is on a street next to the Villa has assured that there is nothing to worry about from the incident”.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
