BREAKING: Senate Confirms Abdulrasheed Bawa as EFCC Chairman

The Senate has confirmed Abdulrasheed Bawa as Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Bawa has worked in the EFCC for 16 years and is a certified fraud examiner and anti-money laundering expert.

His confirmation followed the screening of the nominee at the Committee of the Whole on Wednesday.

Bawa had at plenary, responded to questions from senators on his vision and mission for the commission.
