COVID-19: FG Releases N4.5Bn to Health Workers

The Federal Government has released a sum of N4.5billion to 31 Federal Teaching Hospitals and Medical Centres across the country in the aftermath of a nationwide industrial action embarked upon by members of the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).

Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige disclosed this on Friday in Abuja after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said the amount covered hazard and inducement allowances for health workers for the month of April and May.
