Oyo State government has ordered the cancellation of staggered classes which began in the first term of the 2020/2021 academic session in the outgoing year.
The directive was made in a statement issued on Wednesday by the state Commissioner of Education, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye.
The statement indicated that normal classes would resume for the second term of the 2020/2021 academic session on Monday, January 11, 2021 in all public and private primary/secondary schools in the state.
The commissioner urged all the schools to comply with the COVID-19 protocols to prevent spread of the disease.
