A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), retired Major-General Charles Airhiavbere, on Saturday commended the electoral process at Garrick Memorial College Polling Unit in Oredo Local Government Area.
Airhiavbere spoke shortly after casting his vote.
He described the electoral exercise as peaceful and commended the Independent National Electoral Commission for early commencement in Ward 1 Unit 20 where he exercised his franchise.
Airhiavbere also commended the electorate for coming out in large numbers to cast their votes.
“I am impressed with the electoral process going on. There is social distancing and voters are ready to vote,”.
