EFCC Nabs Woman in Delta for Alleged Internet Fraud

A 24-year-old woman has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for her alleged involvement in internet fraud.

Spokesperson for the anti-graft agency, Wilson Uwujaren, said in a statement on Tuesday, that the suspect identified as Queen Jonathan, was arrested at Oghara, Delta State, on Friday, March 26.

The suspect who was said to be involved in Bitcoin scam allegedly presented herself on Instagram as Sophia Rodriguez, to defraud unsuspecting victims. One Infinix Hot 8 mobile phone was allegedly recovered from her.

Uwujaren said has made useful statement and would be arraigned on completion of investigation.
