Four Persons Die in Benue Road Accident

No fewer than four persons on Tuesday lost their lives in an auto crash along Makurdi-Apir Road five kilometers away from the state Capital.

When Scudnews visited the scene of the accident at Tse Apir, it learnt there was a head-on collision between a tricycle and a Honda Samyang bike.

An eyewitness said the tricycle was conveying two persons and the driver on high speed, lost control as he made an attempt to overtake the bike man who was conveying three persons.

“Four persons died on the spot as it took the intervention of villagers combined with officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission who later came in to take the wounded and the the dead ones away”

It Could be recalled that road mishaps in recent times has been a source of worry, a fortnight ago between Tse-Agberagba and  Ikuan Village, an accident occurred which seven persons were reported to have lost their lives.
