Gunmen Kidnap 5 Abuja Residents In Midnight Raid

Five persons were abducted from their home in Abuja by yet-to-be-identified armed men reportedly dressed in military camouflage uniform.

The victims were whisked away from their residence at the New Sagwari Layout at the base of Dutse Alhaji Hillin Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, linking Mpape, another suburb in the nation’s capital.

“It was like hell as the gunmen stormed the area with gunfire in the wee hours of the night on Monday at about 1.am and abducted five persons in their home without being challenged”, a resident told Scudnews.

The police said efforts are ongoing to rescue the victims.
