Speaking on the development, the Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa commended his colleagues for making history bypassing the two bills.

The speaker also noted that the anti-open grazing bill when assented would ensure harmonious relationships between herders and farmers and protect the environment of the state.

Obasa further added that the bill on VAT would lead to an increase in revenue and an increase in infrastructural development. According to him, the VAT law when assented would help the state meet challenges in its various sectors.
