*Gives FG 7-Day Ultimatum

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has reportedly directed all its affiliates and state councils to immediately begin mobilization of workers and other Nigerians, including civil society organisations, for an extensive strike and mass protests should the Federal Government fail to reverse all its harsh economic policies.

It said that the Federal government risked an indefinite nationwide strike if the policies which are suffocating the poor were not reviewed before August 2, 2023. The policies included the recent hike in the pump price of petrol.
