Delta State Head of Service, Reginald Bayoko, says Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s outstanding capacity building and utilization were reasons the State’s civil servants could celebrate efficient service delivery in Delta State at 30. Bayoko said workers were dedicated to their duties and are thinking around the clock on ways to serve Deltans better. According to Bayoko, “Delta State Civil Service was among few states that abolished First Degree and HND holders dichotomy ahead of the National Assembly action, following 2017 meeting and unanimity to the effect by the National Council of Establishment. I can tell you that the Delta State civil service is doing well among other states. “As the administrative arm of government, at 30 years, civil servants in the state have performed their tasks to ensuring the success of various economic and social programmes of the government”. He commended Governor Okowa for his sustained harmonious relationship with the workforce and commitment to upgrading skills of the civil servants to ensure international best practices in service delivery.” |
