[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The suspended zonal congresses of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South West, North West and North Central, geopolitical zones, will now hold on April 10.
This was contained in a letter jointly signed by Uche Secondus And Umar Tsauri, the party’s national chairman and national secretary, respectively.
The letter which was addressed to the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, was dated March 31, 2021, with reference PDP/DOM/GF.2/VOL.IM/21-015.
“Please refer to our earlier letter… in which we informed the Commission (INEC) of the postponement of our planned zonal congresses in North West, South West and North Central.
We now wish to inform the commission of new dates for the North West, south west and North central zones”, part of the letter read.
It indicated that the zonal congresses will hold on April 10.
The party has also fixed venues for the congresses, indicating that while the South West will hold in Ibadan, Oyo State, congress for the North West will hold in Kaduna, Kaduna State, and the North Central in Makurdi, Benue State.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
