Terrorists Abduct 15 Teenage Girls, 5 Boys

Twenty teenagers comprising 15 female and five male have been abducted by a band of armed terrorists who stormed a farmland where they were working and took them away into a forest.

The journey to hell began for the teenagers aged between 15 and 18, at about 3.pm on Sunday, October 30, when the bandits invaded the farmland located a few kilometers away from Kamfanin Mailafiya Village in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State and seized them.

The abducted teenage girls were identified as Badiya Haruna, Nusaiba Lawal, Bilkisu Haruna, Hauwau Lawal, Lawisa Samaila, Salaha Abdullahi, Hadiza Ibrahim and Ummi Abdulahi.

Others included Saliha Mamaki, Zainab Ahmed, Nusaiba Samaila, Saadatu Sulaiman, Amina Abdullahi, Nafisa Yau, Murja Sani and Aisha Nafiu.

The five male abducted alongside the teenage girls were identified as Inusa Abdullahi, aged 18,  Aliyu Baba (15), Yusuf Dawa (15), Ismail Shehu (17) and Asiya Ahmed, 19.

Reports indicated that the victims hail from Mairua Village in Faskari Local Government Area of the State.

 The police said investigation is ongoing towards ensuring that they are safely rescued from captivity.
