A policeman has been knocked off a bridge in Lagos after traffic regulation officials attempted to arrest a car owner who was flouting the traffic laws. The area where the event unfolded has been identified by a Twitter user as the airport road inward Oshodi.
A video posted by @GIDITRAFFIC shows a LASTMA official trying to open the door of the vehicle whilst the driver was trying to maneuver away from his impending arrest. The driver then made a wild reverse and knocked off another armed police officer off the bridge.
The officials in the background can be heard yelling in terror at the development, and a Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) official can be seen wielding the policeman’s gun in a reckless manner; attempting to break the window of the driver with the butt of the gun.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://twitter.com/Gidi_Traffic/status/1364829214973788161?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1364829214973788161%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Ffranktalknow.com%2Fpoliceman-knocked-off-bridge-in-lagos-during-arrest-attempt-on-moving-vehicle%2F”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
