Woman Sleeps With Biological Son In Kwara, Bears 3 Children

Residents of Mosne community in Kaima, Kwara State, are yet to come to terms with an incestuous relationship between a woman and her biological son which has produced three children.

The woman, Fati Sime and her son, Adamu, were said to be having an affair under cover for several years before the bubble burst.

On Thursday, September 9, Malam Bandede, the District Head of Mosne Had, reportedly alerted men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, on the abominable act committed by mother and child.

Ironically, it was not only Adamu that was found to have been sleeping with his mother; his younger brother whose name could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report, also allegedly indulged in the show of shame.

While Adamu has been arrested by operatives of the NSCDC, the younger brother who also allegedly partook in the incestuous act is said to be on the run.

The family are said to be Beninese immigrants resident in Kwara State.

Confirming the incident, spokesperson for the state command of the NSCDC, Mr. Babawale Afolabi, said in a statement on Sunday, September 12, that further investigation revealed that the younger brother of the accused, who was also confirmed to be sleeping with the mother, was now at large.

 “On Sept. 9, the District Head of Mosne Had Community, Kaima, Malam Bandede, reported the forbidden act being committed by Sime and his mother Fati Sime of the same community.

“Men from the Intelligence Unit, NSCDC in Kaima, swung into action and the outcome of the investigations established the fact that the mother, Fati, had birthed three children for her biological son”, Afolabi said.

He disclosed that the woman and her two sons do not have the requisite documents to legally stay in Nigeria and had been handed over to the Nigeria lmmigration Service, NIS, for background checks and necessary action.
