5 Killed As Gunmen Invade Abuja Community

Suspected bandits have shot dead five residents of Daako Village, Dobi, a community in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

The Gunmen were said to have stormed the community in a dusk attack at about 6.30pm on Friday, April 8, shooting sporadically at the villagers leaving blood and tears on their trail.

It could not be ascertained if the invaders abducted residents, but it was learnt that they had left the scene before the arrival of security operatives.

The operatives were said to have found five persons shot dead.

A top security source who craved anonymity said the incident is being investigated.
