EFCC Arrests 9 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Niger

 

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested nine internet fraud suspects in Niger State. They were picked up today February 22, in an early morning operation in Minna, the state capital.

 

A statement on Monday by Wilson Uwujaren, the Commission’s Head, Media and Publicity, said their arrest by operatives from the Advance Fee Fraud section at EFCC headquarters, followed credible intelligence on their alleged fraudulent activities. He said they will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.

Items allegedly recovered from the suspects include Laptops, phones and cars.
