Fake $3Million USD Recovered From Staff Of Abuja Printing Press, 5 Suspects Arrested

Five Staff of Jeag Printing Press located at Area 11, Garki, Abuja, are telling the police the source of three million United States dollar, USD, counterfeit notes found in their possession.

It could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report whether the fake green backs were printed at their printing facility, but impeccable sources hinted Scudnews on Monday that the ring was busted at about 5.30pm on Friday, January 13.

Police detectives attached to Wuse Division of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police command reportedly stormed the printing press and arrested the five staff after recovering the counterfeit USD notes based on credible intelligence.

The suspects were identified as Akande Tayo, Jeremiah Adika, Adeniyi Adeyinka, Abayomi Adeyemi and John Ode.

Police said the suspects, all male, were in custody and investigation is ongoing.
